One of the major functions of the CFBSD is to compile and disseminate statistical data about business education market in Canada. Two of our regular surveys, the Salary Survey and Business School Questionnaire, are conducted in collaboration with AACSB International. Data is collected for schools in Canada, the USA and internationally.
Salary Survey
This annual survey is conducted in the Fall. Collects data on faculty and administrative salaries for fields/disciplines, ranks, and positions commonly found in business schools. Sections on compensation practices, part-time faculty salaries, and doctoral faculty demand are also included. Participating schools receive salary reports for Canada and the USA, as well as access to custom data reports.

Business School Questionnaire
This survey is conducted early in the new year. Annually collects data on programs, admissions, enrollments, degrees conferred, faculty, finances, and other school level data. Participants receive access to overview reports, to two accreditation statistical reports and to custom data.

Other Surveys
CFBSD regularily undertakes special surveys, often in collaboration with other organisations. Recent examples are the Business of Branding conducted in collaboration with Carrington & Crisp, and the Entrepreunership Programme Surveys, conducted in collaboration with Industry Canada.
