The School of Business Administration, Dalhousie University, invites applications for two probationary tenure track, tenure-track or tenured appointments in Finance at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant or Associate Professor commencing July 1, 2010 (negotiable). Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Finance or a related discipline. Excellent research and teaching potential and/or record is essential. A professional Finance designation is also desirable.

The successful applicant?s primary responsibilities will include continuing an active research program, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and contributing to the academic life of the School. Applicants in all research areas of Finance are encouraged to apply.

The School of Business Administration is part of the Faculty of Management, which has a unique commitment to values-based management and inter-disciplinary research and learning.�Thus, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work with like-minded colleagues in the sister Schools of Public Administration, Information Management, and Resource and Environmental Studies within the Faculty.
