This is an exciting time in the continuing development of Thompson Rivers University (TRU). Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Dean is responsible for the supervision and administration of all activities of the School. The successful candidate will be an outstanding academic leader who brings a strong commitment to serving the needs of students and promotes teaching and research to raise the profile of SoBE.  He/she will have an open and collegial style along with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to inspire a dedicated faculty and staff.   The Dean will have a record of success as an academic administrator, be strategic and entrepreneurial, and bring experience as an inspirational leader, communicator and mentor.
